Pause in July
for An Introspective Art Experience
Pause is a space to step out of the usual pace and reconnect with your life as it is. Each monthly gathering (2–3 hours) offers a different way to slow down and notice what’s here: through reflection, creative practice, quiet, movement, time in nature, or even a bit of play and laughter. Some sessions may feel still and spacious, others more active or expressive, but all are designed to help you reconnect, engage your life more fully, and make room for whatever you’re carrying.
Pause is offered monthly on alternating weekend days to make participation more accessible. Gatherings may take place at the Bread of Life office or in other community settings.
Playing On The Edge:
An Introspective Art Experience
SATURDAY, JULY 25, 12:30PM-4:30pm
Explore your intuitive, artistic abilities in this easy going group. Playing on the edge means following one’s curiosity and imagination with an open heart and playful attitude, no matter where it leads, trusting that the process will be one of discovery and simple appreciation.
THEME: THE HOPE THAT IS IN US
The experience will include a poetic prompt to spur your imagination, then we will create in silence together. Afterwards, we will share our art and insights with each other. Seeing what others create and listening to the positive comments about your art brings a unique depth to these meetings, deepening your appreciation of your own and other’s intuitive abilities. No art experience is needed.
Description: Hope is a quiet voice, often lost to our fear and the busyness of our everyday lives. In this quiet afternoon we will be giving hope a chance to blossom into our awareness using easy, artistic play. With gentle breathing and poetic words of wisdom to get us started, we will let our hope express itself through the blending of tissue paper, splashes of watercolor and other fun materials. This is a contemplative time to explore hope for anyone who is willing to go beyond the limitations of “not an artist” into the realm of joyful relaxation and shared experience.

Hope that is ours, needing our focused, observant attention,
