The Human Condition: A Weekend of Contemplative Discovery

Daniel Daeseop Yi

The basic core of human identity is not our usual egoic self but our participation in the divine life.
— Thomas Keating

Over this transformative weekend, we'll explore Thomas Keating's profound insights into the human condition and the journey toward spiritual awakening. Through his lens, you'll discover how the practice of Centering Prayer can open doors to deep healing and transformation. Keating teaches us that our human condition—with all its early life programming—is not a barrier to spiritual growth but the very pathway through which divine grace operates. As he reminds us, "The spiritual journey is not about acquiring something outside yourself. Rather, it is about surrendering all that you are holding onto that no longer serves you.
