Margo Fowkes, President
Margo Fowkes has held positions in the private, public, and non-profit sectors, and founded her own consulting firm in 1994. A former budget analyst for the United States Budget Committee, she has worked for all levels of government and with a range of businesses, from Fortune 500 companies to sole proprietorships. Margo has served on several non-profit boards, founded her own non-profit, and has provided training through the BOARDLINK™ program as an instructor at the Nonprofit Resource Center.
Inspired by her son Jimmy, who passed away in 2014 after an eight-year fight against brain cancer, Margo recently launched Salt Water, a website that provides articles and podcasts about healing and building a new life after the death of a loved one. A graduate of Stanford University, Margo received a Master’s of Public Policy from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
