The Margo & Gill hayes bread of life fund
We are grateful to Margo and Gill for setting up this named fund. Margo and Gill have realized their wish to provide Bread of Life with a fund that others can donate to, and that they will fund annually so this unrestricted resource can be utilized to secure the future of Bread of Life.
Both Margo and Gill have been enthusiastic supporters of Bread of Life since our beginning. Margo is a former board member and has also volunteered her time to the Resource Development committee.
The couple currently lives in Carmichael, though they raised their son and daughter in Sacramento. Margo went to Darien High School in Connecticut and has a B.A. in Child Development and an M.A. in Social Work. She taught at a nursery school and then had a private practice for 22 years from which she is now retired. Gill is retired from the locksmith company he owned and has been volunteering at the River City Food Bank for more than 14 years.
Gill donates annually to Bread of Life in his wife’s honor, and she donates to the Food Bank in his honor. This is touching evidence of their deep and meaningful commitment to each other and to community.
Brother Don Bisson Scholarship Fund
We are grateful to Don for initiating the donation to make this scholarship fund a reality. Don is making it possible for Bread of Life to have a scholarship fund that others can donate to so people who otherwise would be unable can have access to the Spiritual Formation and Dynamic Dialogue programs offered at Bread of Life can take part.
Don has been an enthusiastic supporter of Bread of Life for many years, coming to speak every other year and donating the total of ticket sales to Bread of Life Center.
Don currently lives in New York state, though he travels a good part of the year to bring a wealth of diverse programs with contemporary topics to people all over the United States. Don earned his Doctor of Ministry at the Pacific School of Religion specializing in Spiritual Direction and Jungian Psychology.
We are grateful for Don’s commitment to the Bread of Life community.
